When a child is in the hospital family stays. And we stay with them.

We believe that “home” is more than four walls and a roof over your head. That’s why we provide a haven for families with ill or injured children, with all the comforts of home, plus the compassion of staff, volunteers, and other families; all just steps away from the hospital.
Our Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms are there to support families through their child’s medical journey. Whether it’s a break from the clinical environment, a restorative space to pause, or a sense of normalcy sitting down with a cup of tea while the children are entertained.
We believe every child deserves the chance to keep learning, no matter where they live or what challenges they face.
When a child is ill or injured, school can quickly fall away. Lessons are missed, routines disappear, and confidence can fade. For families and children already carrying so much, this can be another yet another challenge to face. The Ronald McDonald House Learning Program offers support by keeping children connected to their learning.
We believe families who have lived through childhood illness, injury or loss deserve a sanctuary – a place to recharge, reconnect and enjoy precious moments together.
Eligible families can enjoy a week of free accommodation at one of our Ronald McDonald House Family Retreats, giving them the space to breathe again.
There are many ways you can make an impact.
Create your own fundraising event or support an existing activity, request donations instead of gifts for your special celebrations, or leave a tribute to a loved one.
We would not be able to provide the level of support we do without the incredible community of supporters from throughout Western Australia who give up their time to fundraise for WA families with ill or injured children.
